Mar 24, 2002I am pleased to announce that members of Father Diamond Council - working in conjunction with the St. Vincent de Paul Society - successfully provided the following to needy families and members of the Fairfax community:
30 Easter Baskets
30 Hams, and
30 $10 gift certificates
a $100 donation to a lady with special needs
Easter Baskets for each family from St. Leo's School kids
We had quite a bit of help assembling and delivering these items and I would like to specifically thank the following folks:
Mary Navarro and all the St. Vincent de Paul folks who did so much work to set everything up for a smooth assembly and delivery of food and gifts.
Moving the food: Larry Gottschalk, Larry Novak, Hank Urban, Pete Smith and others.
Assembling: Mary Navarro, Bill Davis, Dave & Debbie Miller, Kids from St. Leo's, and other St. Vincent de Paul folks
