Report from the Right to Life March w/Photos [New Record!]
Jan 23, 2002Our collection total for this years Right to Life March is $24,849. We again collected on Constitution Avenue in front of the National Archives. This is the highest amount we have collected since we started collecting in 1994. The highest total was last Years $22,447 and the lowest was $1,855 in '94, you can see we have come a long way in improving our collection effort. Our total for the period since '94 is $111,162.
We had 20 brother Knights in this years collecting team plus our repeat volunteer Jamie Coniglio, Peter's wife, who brightened our day. Jamie not only helped collect she also helped count the money afterwards. Also thanks to Elaine Pepin who joined us in helping count the money and to John Judge who had spaghetti and meatballs waiting for us when we got back to the Hall.
Again thanks to all who participated in this very worthwhile effort, a job well done.
