Jan 31, 2011Many of our Knights have received e-mails from "kofc6292-request@mailman.kofc.com." These are legitimate e-mails generated as a result of testing conducted on a BACK-UP e-mail system.
Current e-mail procedures remain in place. Council e-mails will continue to be distributed by Past Treasurer Urban. In the event he is on vacation or otherwise unavailable, this backup system can be used by the Grand Knight to distribute time-sensitive information.
No action is required by Knights. E-mail address updates can be sent to that e-mail address in addition to Brother Urban.
