Jan 14, 2001Over the past two months since the Gift Certificate (script) program was commenced I've been asked how long the program will last. The answer is as long as we support the program by purchasing script. It is a very easy method of increasing the financial status of the council. Since inception at the end of Oct we have sold over $10,000.00 of script with a profit of over $500.00. Extended over a 12 month period this will help in financing the councils many charitable programs. Combined with St. Leo's use of Giant's BonusCard and the Safeway Card (which can be designed through the rectory) we can support the Council, St. Leo's, and also receive discounts through the cards. And you can still use coupons and any other program offered by the stores. The certificates (Giant, Safeway, and Shoppers) are available at all Knights functions and the First Sunday outside the church and the third Sunday at the
Parish Breakfast. The more we purchase the more we help ourselves.
