Oct 09, 2006The Knights of Columbus, Father Diamond Council #6292 second annual Council Soccer Challenge scheduled for Saturday, October 7, 2006 was cancelled due to weather conditions and has been rescheduled for Monday, Oct. 9 at Providence Park, Fairfax City, from Noon - 2:00 PM (near George Mason University). Check this website whould weather again prove unfavorable.
The Knights of Columbus Soccer Challenge, a shooting skills contest, is open to all boys and girls between the ages of 10 and 14, as of September 1, 2006.
Girls and boys compete against others of the same age to represent the Council at the District Championship the following Saturday, October 14, from 3:00 - 5:00 PM, also at Providence Park.
District winners advance to the Knights of Columbus State Soccer Challenge in Richmond on October 21. All Father Diamond Council entrants will receive participation certificates. Council winners will also be awarded a certificate for winning his/her age group.
