Oct 12, 2001Fr. Diamond Council will be operating our annual food (Kielbasa, Hot Dogs and Sloppy Joes)and beverage (Beer and Sodas) stand at the Fairfax City Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 13. The rain date is Sunday, Oct. 14. This is one of our major annual Fund raising events
Working shifts are as follows:
6:00 - 10:00 (meet at Providence Hall at 6 AM)
10:00 - 14:00
14:00 - closing (usually finished about 6:30)
Workers for the second two shifts should come directly to the Festival.
Help is needed the most for the final shift, but any help is appreciated, even if you cannot work an entire shift. The work entails cooking hot dogs & kielbasa, serving this food as well as beer and soda.
Our lot is located on Main Street in old town Fairfax, in the parking lot between the Subway Shop and the Christmas Store. Upon entry to the Festival, the gate attendants will normally let you enter without paying the admittance fee if you tell them you
are working for the Knights. Please bring a hat with you, such as a base
ball cap to satisfy the health department regulations.
