Sep 14, 2001President Bush has declared today a national day of "prayer and remembrance." Today, the President and First Lady will attend services at Washington's National Cathedral. Others services will take place at Noon at the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, Courthouse Square Park in Rockville, the National City Christian Church in Washington, Saint Andrew's Episcopal Church in Arlington and many more. A five-minute National Period of Silence will be observed at Noon, followed by the ringing of bells from houses of worship and buildings.
Our Worthy Grand Knight and the Rectory has asked that our Council be advised concerning a Memorial Mass tonight [Friday] at 1930 at St. Leo's for the tragedies of the past few days. Following the Mass there will be Adoration at 2100.
