May 20, 2001The Council provided for the third year refreshments for the Antique Car Show held in Fairfax City. Serving hot dogs, chili dogs, chili and drinks, we netted $444.00. Thanks are extended to those that helped with the effort: Bob Eckert, Greg Skorupski, Larry Lynch and especially Jim Lynch, Russell Kamin, George Schuld, Al Leightley, Greg Hartley, Gerry Pepin and the ever present Hank Urban. And a special thanks to Stephen Mahoney for his past records that made the set up and execution extremely easy. We sold about 260 Hot dogs and 231 sodas plus some chips, which was significantly more than last years. Additionally, money was collected for KOVAR with about $28.00 received. Thanks to all for their assistance in making this event a success and showing our commitment to our community.
